Writing Intent
Through a range of opportunities, at Woolston CE Primary, children develop the stamina and ability to be creative and purposeful writers. To develop further children’s use of vocabulary in different contexts, we match writing genres with experiences and enrichment activities where appropriate. To build resilience, children reflect upon their learning and edit their own and each other's work independently and collaboratively. Writing is developed in a sequential order to equip the children with the authorial skills they need to develop and be able to write independently.
Please see below the long term plan for Writing.
