Global Awareness Day 2022

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (Sustainable Development Goals). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing climate change. It is our responsibility to work together to build a better future for everyone.

No Poverty

Year 1 and Year 2 explored SDG 1.

Nearly half of the world's population lives in poverty, and lack of food and clean water is killing thousands every day.

Life Below Water

EYFS explored SDG 14.

Healthy oceans and seas are essential to our existence. We must protect them by eliminating pollution and overfishing.

Climate Action

Year 5 and 6 explored SDG 13.

Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to our entire civilisation. The effects are already visible and will be catastrophic unless we act now.

Responsible Consumption and Production

Year 3 and 4 explored SDG 12.

Our planet has provided us with an abundance of natural resources. We must learn how to use and produce in sustainable ways that will reverse the harm that we have inflicted on the planet.
